Overcoming geographic and intellectual barriers
ITESO is the Jesuit University of Guadalajara. Founded in 1957, it belongs to the International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU), the largest and oldest educational network in the world, which brings together 228 institutions of higher education entrusted to the Society of Jesus. They all share an educational tradition dating back more than 450 years, historically at the center of world thought and known for educating leaders in all fields of science and the arts.
ITESO is known for its academic excellence, present in its various programs, as well as for a sense of social responsibility aimed at improving people’s living conditions, and creating a fairer and more caring world.
