Professor Real has a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Materials and Mechanical Systems from the Technological Institute of Celaya, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO). He is currently working on a PhD in Advanced Manufacturing at CIATEQ, Advanced Technology Center, with the research project "Development of a robotic manipulator with 6 degrees of freedom and cycloidal transmissions."
He has been a professor at ITESO since 2000. He coordinated the Undergraduate Program in Mechanical Engineering at two different times, from 2005 to 2012 and from 2014 to 2015. His areas of interest are the design of mechanical components, the elaboration of 3D (PC) models and assemblies, the elaboration of design blueprints, the construction and distribution of equipment, the elaboration of diagrams of pipes and instrumentation, heat transfer, materials science, manufacturing systems and processes, quality testing, resistance and lifecycle of telephone units and their components, and dimensional measurement of mechanical and electrical parts.
